Have a game of pool in our alpine-themed bar and order from an awesome selection of gourmet burgers, pizzas and hot mountain foods.
During summer and spring, you’ll enjoy basking in the sun on the spacious Tussock deck, with excellent views of Mount Ruapehu and Mount Tongariro.
During winter, Tussock Bar is also a hot spot for socializing with other snow-enthusiasts and dancing till the wee small hours!
Tussock Bar & Restaurant is open 7 days a week from 3.00pm*, and is located 100 metres below the Chateau Tongariro Hotel in the Whakapapa Village.
Tussock Bar will be closing on May 16th and will reopen 20th June 2013. Bar facilities are available within the Pihanga Cafe while Tussock is closed.
