The Chateau has a magnificent lounge in the original Art Deco style with sumptuous armchairs, crackling fire in the grand fireplace and the lush Ngauruhoe Room, perfect for relaxing with some quiet time or with friends.

Not only is there the warmth of the hotel to savour but we have the highest golf course in New Zealand and for those who enjoy a little more active pursuits, there are walks and rambles ranging from 15 minutes to 3 hours.
