Named for the distinguished Maori Chief who gifted his land – now the Tongariro National Park - to New Zealand, the Te Heu Heu Suite is our most prestigious accommodation.

Spacious, luxurious and decorated in the finest classical-style furnishings, the imposing Te Heu Heu suite is situated on the top floor of the plush new Tongariro Wing.

The suite boasts stunning views of all three towering mountains - Mount Ruapehu, Mount Ngauruhoe and Mount Tongariro – and surrounding views of the World Heritage Tongariro National Park.

Feel the warmth of your open fireplace, central to the large lounge and entertaining area. Your Super King bed is positioned to capture the dramatic beauty of a sunrise on Mount Ngauruhoe. Soak in the large spa bath and sip champagne as you soak in the magnificent colours of sunset. Your bathroom also has a separate shower, a double marble vanity and under-floor heating. Wrap yourself in a fluffy bathrobe and enjoy your TV with Sky TV Channels and a DVD player.

Chaise lounges offer a place to relax and enjoy the ever-changing vistas.
