High Tea

Step back to genteel times with a High Tea experience at the Chateau Tongariro Hotel. With a specially curated new menu launched in September 2019, you will enjoy traditional scones, delicate finger sandwiches, sweet treats and freshly brewed gourmet teas or coffee in the opulent Ruapehu Lounge. To mark a truly special occasion, upgrade to enjoy a glass of bubbles with your fresh scones, savouries and macarons.

Choose between a traditional, vegetarian, gluten free or vegan menu.

Pamper yourself and your friends with High Tea at The Chateau Tongariro Hotel, available daily from 11 AM – 5 PM.

Sunday Carvery

Everyone loves a traditional roast, but in this day and age, we may not have the luxury of time to cook this meal. The Chateau Tongariro Hotel has the perfect solution with all of the classics and none of the effort.

Come enjoy a slice of tradition at the Sunday Carvery. Bring the family along for some succulent beef wellington and rolled pork leg, deli selection, perfectly cooked vegetables and sides, and the crowning touch of old-fashioned desserts just like Grandma used to make.
